Refunds minus a $10 processing fee will be issued for requests made prior to March 1, 2018. You can transfer your registration to anyone by May 31, 2018 ... just email SilentWeekend@aol.com with the request and include the name, address, email contact and the signing level of the person you want to take your place.
Due to discount for group registrations, no refunds or credits at all at any time.
The reasons for this policy include:
1. Presenters are contracted (and travel paid) based on the current attendance.
2. Hotels have a sliding scale penalty ranging from $4,000 to $42,000 if projected numbers are not met.
3. Money is committed to food and beverage based on registration count.
4. Name tags are finalized.
5. When credit cards are processed, they charge fees.
6. This conference isn't sponsored by grants and due to our overhead, cancelations impact us severely.
There will be absolutely no refunds or credits (this includes "credit" for the 2019 event) after March 1, 2018. Your registration can be transferred at no charge up to May 31, 2018 only and there are no transfers after this date. NO EXCEPTIONS.
